There are many amazing nonprofit organizations across the country that provide desperately-needed services, including food and temporary shelter, for our homeless population. But far fewer organizations provide programs that help end the cycle of homelessness by providing job training and marketable skills to those capable of joining the work force.

Train the Homeless is centered on providing employable job skills training in the most common trade fields, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and automotive service and repair. By offering this training to those capable and willing to work, we can reduce the number of people we’re feeding each day by “teaching them to fish” for themselves for the rest of their lives.
